Bob's playing, in particular during Iko Iko is unusual and inspired.

There aren't enough stars in the universe to rate this superlative show. Listen to the Eyes if you only have time for one song.

Incredible; easy one of the best shows I've ever heard from '82. Some highlights:

*Stagger Lee is probably the gutsiest song Garcia and Hunter ever wrote. One of the only examples I can think of an outright *sequel*, not a re-arranging, to an old folk song. Awesome approach here!
*Bertha to close the set - they pick up this dance-fever thing they can't shed for the remainder of the show.
*The Eyes is famous, yes, but don't overlook the 2nd set's secret weapon: Sailor > Saint. Lost Sailor is such a cool composition.

Thanks again CM for this remaster - sounds very, VERY clear -

A nice long 1st set with great song selections.and love the I Need a Miracle>Bertha to end it.The sound quality is top notch! The second set does not disappoint with a well played China>Rider and a Iko Iko>Truckin out of space..Well played from start to finish..GIVE IT A WHIRL!!!!!!!!!!!

I have Set II on cassette and listened to it at least a hundred times. What a treat to hear Set I in its entirety. Smokin’ entire show with great energy.

This was the last of the mid-west shows for many of us...the next show was far far west, Washington state.
This show was a gift and a good-bye to so many of us who had spent so much time sharing the music.
